Jared and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary this year! He took me downtown to the Portland City Grill. If you’re familiar with PDX at all, it’s definitely one of the top places to go. It’s on the 30th floor of the Bank Tower and shows a breathtaking view of the city and beyond. It was the first time and The only bummer is you can’t reserve a window table, and just have to hope for the best. We were seated in the center, but the view was still beautiful.

I love holidays, birthdays, and anniversaries because they’re perfect excuses! With the craziness of our lives, sometimes it’s hard to find time for a fancy date night. We’re pretty good at making time for casual ones, but there’s just something about dressing up and going downtown together that is so special.
